WHO WE ARE?
One Christ Mosaic is a non-denominational, multi-cultural Christian organisation whose fundamental purpose is to help nurture children, teenagers, and young adults into responsible true born-again Christians through prayer, the teaching of the infallible word of God and other socio-religious activities.
Vision
Raising this and the next generation in, with and by the true Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We at OC, believe the sole purpose of man is to fear God and obey Him. However, we are not able to do this with our strength but with the strength, we receive from the Holy Spirit by being diligent followers of Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 3: 15-16
15: You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.
16: All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
Mission
Preaching the Gospel, Serving Humanity and Growing Together
Preaching the Gospel
We believe the good news Gospel of Jesus Christ is the best thing that ever happened to the human race since creation. We believe we are called and sent to preach and teach the true Gospel to the world just as Jesus instructs us to do. The Gospel of Jesus Christ forms the basis of everything we do at OC. For this reason, we adopt various means possible to ensure we are reaching as many people with the Gospel of truth, which undeniably is the only hope for humankind more powerful than anything else in this world.
John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Mark 16:15
And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”
Romans 10:15
And how shall they preach, except they are sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
Serving Humanity
At OC, we believe one of the by-products of the gospel is servitude. We know we are called to serve, and we are sure to serve in love. Serving humanity is a boundless statement, that is why we do not restrict ourselves on what type of service we render or give. We are careful to rely on the leadership of the Holy Spirit and freely give our talent, gifts, and skills to making those around us feel served and loved. We will rather serve than be served.
Mathew 23:11
The greatest among you will be your servant.
Romans 12:11
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord.
Mark 10:45
The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
Galatians 5:13
You, my brothers, and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
Growing Together
An obvious evidence of life is growth. We believe in helping each other grow in all aspects of life. Anything that does not continually grow is sure to sooner than later stagnate and eventually die. We are focused on identifying our level of maturity from a holistic perspective and make actionable plans to help us improve and grow. We believe, recognise, and accept our innate need to interdepend on one another in love will help us grow in all facets of our lives. We strife not to leave anyone behind. We grow together.
2 Peter 3:18
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen
Colossians 1:10
So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God...
Colossians 2:7
Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
Philippians 3:13-14
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
